Kevin Kelly, the CEO featured in  today’s Executive Suite column, started an ad agency even though he didn’t have experience in the field.

He says he learned about the business by soaking up everything he could, from books to trade magazines and podcasts.

Then he went straight to the leaders at the top.

“I just ran out of access to this information and I started calling them,” he said. Kelly launched a video interview podcast show, at thebuzzbubble.com.

“I talk to these people and gain insight and learn from the best. They get some exposure. I get to pick the brains of the greatest advertising people in the world.”
