Burnley, Lancashire (PRWEB UK) 28 November 2013

With two new branches set to open in Bolton and Stockport early in 2014, James Hargreaves Plumbing Depot has much to look forward to.

But the present is pretty impressive too, with one of the most recent additions to the branch portfolio currently reporting record trade.

The Blackpool trade counter has managed to double turnover within its first quarter – an outstanding performance that has already brought new job opportunities to the resort.

And with a full bathroom showroom set to be added in January, manager Mark Heys is confident of further development.

“I was always optimistic, but the early figures have far surpassed even my own expectations,” said Mark, a native of the Fylde Coast with 12 years' experience in the plumbing and heating industry.

“We hit the ground running and, basically, it has been non-stop from day one.”

Being able to add a new recruit - 20-year-old Liam Johnson, who hails from nearby Bispham - has helped with a demanding work load.

“Liam has worked with me before and he will prove a great asset,” added Mark. “He knows the business having been involved since leaving school and he shares our work ethic and determination to provide a quality service."

“But I truly believe we will be adding further to the staff in the next few weeks, once we have shown that the trade figures can stay at a consistently high level."

“There is no secret to our success other than coming in every day with a united desire to provide the right products at the right price and build customer relationships."

“We have a good team and an excellent location and the combination works well – as the results prove.”

More about James Hargreaves:
It is a similar story over in Lancaster, the latest and 34th branch in the group, where manager Chris Lee reports new accounts opening ‘on a daily basis’ just weeks after the doors opened on the £250,000 trade counter.

The continuously expanding James Hargreaves Group is now one of the north of England's leading plumbers merchants. Established in 1968, the firm also has six luxury bathroom showrooms.
