LogistiCare Announced that Schedule Viewer’s MediRoutes product has been selected as one of their preferred vendors for their NEMT providers

Schedule Viewer, developer of Mediroutes software, is excited to announce that they have been selected as one of the preferred vendors for Logisticare NEMT providers. LogistiCare, the largest transportation broker in the United States, helps state governments and managed care organizations run transportation and integrated health care programs – affording more than 27 million health plan members better access to care in their communities. LogistiCare chose MediRoutes as one of their preferred software systems based upon the following criteria and features:
1. The large number of LogistiCare providers (over 100) successfully using the MediRoutes product,
2 .Schedule Viewer’s support of LogistiCare’s ATMS (Advanced Transportation Management System) initiative, an API (Application Programming Interface) that Mediroutes integrates, providing our clients the following features for their LogistiCare trips:
- Automated download of trips into MediRoutes without the need for a CSV file import,
- Automated upload of completed trips for faster payment, eliminating the need for printed driver log sheets
LogistiCare has recently enhanced the API, and the following new features are now supported by MediRoutes:
- Ability to “turn back” trips to LogistiCare through MediRoutes, eliminating the need to call LogistiCare to turn back/refuse trips
- Vehicle matching –The ability to match and sync LogistiCare certified vehicles to vehicles in MediRoutes, storing the LogistiCare Vehicle Id on the MediRoutes Vehicle record.
- Driver matching – The ability to match and sync LogistiCare certified drivers with those drivers stored in MediRoutes
- Driver signature upload – The ability to choose and upload driver signatures to LogistiCare
3. MediRoutes additional functionality currently available to NEMT providers:
- Optimized Revenue Scheduling and Reporting: MediRoutes scheduling algorithm creates an optimized schedule for the provider ensuring that every passenger gets to their appointment on time AND the provider can improve their revenue per mile by maximized the capacity of the vehicles and minimizing the number of miles driven. The provider can look at their schedule and see exactly how much money they will make for each vehicle before a single vehicle leaves the pull-out garage. With revenue reporting, clients can see what impact changes in the schedule will have on their top line revenue in real-time and can run reports after trips have been completed. They can see exactly how much money they made per day, per mile, and can view that information by driver, by capacitated versus dead head miles, space type, funding source and other sorting options.
- ATR (Automatic Trip Reminders) – The ability to set up automated reminders to passengers using voice, email and/or text, to address one of the biggest challenges we hear from NEMT providers, the number of “cancel at doors” (passengers cancelling after the driver has already arrived) and “no shows” (passengers not at the pick-up point) that occur every day. Both cost NEMT providers time and money. ATR replaces having dedicated staff or drivers call the passengers in advance, saving time and money. ATR allows prescheduled or targeted notification for trips scheduled in MediRoutes and responses from their clients directly in the MediRoutes desktop application.
- MediCheck Vehicle Inspection eliminates the need for paper and messy hand writing when your drivers are performing their vehicle's inspections. You can easily setup the checklists you want for vehicle inspections within the MediRoutes Desktop Application. Make the checklists as detailed or simple as you want and there is no limit to how many checklists you can have. Once created, drivers will perform the inspections on the MediRoutes mobile app, integrating it into their regular workflow. Vehicle inspection reports can be accessed from a web browser, on an as needed basis.
- Mobile Timekeeping incorporates typical time clock features into the daily workflow of the driver, eliminating the need to punch a clock at the office or base location. As part of the daily workflow, the driver will begin and end their shift right on their mobile device. At the end of the day the system will confirm shift hours for the driver. Information is displayed in the MediRoutes Desktop application for managers, as well as in a web-based reporting site, which will display both summary and detailed data, such as shift hours and breaks.
