Assassin's Creed Revelations

Assassin’s Creed Revelations will form the final part of a trilogy started by Assassin's Creed 2 and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

I got to play a couple of minutes and it basically feels and looks the same.

The one big difference is the use of a “hook blade,” which allows the main character to slide down zip lines to get different parts of the map quickly and to help climb up buildings faster. It also serves as a weapon to take out enemies by plunging it into their necks.

Honestly, the hood blade addition felt forced. The sequences where the hook blade was used as a weapon (it’s a small blade that is tied around the character’s wrist) look cartoonish in an otherwise realistic-looking world. And the random zip lines that appear through the rooftops, while convenient, look out of place.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will launch on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 15 worldwide.

The developer, Ubisoft, said that if you pre-order Assassin’s Creed: Revelations at GameStop you’ll get the "Signature Edition," which comes packaged with a bonus singleplayer mission, an exclusive multiplayer character, weapons capacity upgrades, an animated short film and the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations soundtrack.
