Jennifer Hudson debuts as Weight Watchers' spokeswoman
Jennifer Hudson is Weight Watchers' new dream girl, er, spokeswoman.
The Oscar and Grammy winner debuted as Weight Watchers' spokeswoman on yesterday's edition of "Good Morning America."
Hudson, who had her first child last August with fiance and WWE wrestler David Otunga, said the weight-loss program "teaches me how to live a healthier lifestyle and it makes sense for my life. I can follow the plan no matter where I am."
To help inaugurate the company's promotional campaign, Hudson also appeared on Weight Watchers' Facebook page, and has started a blog there under the handle "iamjhud."
"One of the things I am most excited about in my life right now is that I can finally tell everyone what I have been doing to lose weight," the first blog posting said. "It has been so hard not to say I've been following Weight Watchers."
The campaign includes having Hudson on the cover of the May/June issue of Weight Watchers magazine, and a series of TV commercials premiering Sunday.
