The B-52s and Devo will tour together for the first time this fall, with a stop set for Oct. 5 at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh.

General-public tickets for the 11-date "Cosmic De-Evolution Tour" go on sale June 20 at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com. The tour kicks off Sept. 24 in Toronto and wraps Nov. 2 in The Woodlands, Texas. Lene Lovich will open all shows.

B-52s vocalist Cindy Wilson said the idea for the tour came after both bands performed at "SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert" at Radio City Music Hall in February.

"We started talking and agreed we had to do these shows," Wilson, 68, said in a Monday news release. "Believe or not, we’ve never done more than a festival or two together in all this time. This will be amazing, and I can’t wait for The B-52s to share these stages with Devo!"

The run will continue each band’s farewell tour. Wilson and her fellow B-52s members Fred Schneider and Kate Pierson launched their goodbye trek in 2022 and have since played select venues, major festivals and established a Las Vegas residency at The Venetian Theatre. Known for genre-defining hits including "Love Shack," "Rock Lobster" and "Roam," the band has sold more than 20 million albums.

Devo launched their "50 Years of De-Evolution" farewell tour in 2023 and have extended it through 2025. The group helped shape the look and sound of the MTV era with tracks like "Whip It" and "Uncontrollable Urge," blending punk, synth-pop and performance art. Their touring lineup includes founding members Gerald Casale, and Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh.

"It was either fate or luck or the ['Saturday Night Live'] anniversary that brought us all together to create this amazing chance to go out on tour," Mark Mothersbaugh, 75, said. "All I can say is Cosmic Devolution is REAL!"
