Jessica Sanchez takes a risk on 'American Idol'

Budding superstar Jessica Sanchez up next on "American Idol." They're singing songs from the years they were born -- 1995 in her case -- and she says, "I was such a little diva."

As she sings Gloria Estefan's "Turn the Beat Around," guest mentor will.i.am is astounded by her versatile voice.

She struts out, resplendent in sparkly glitter pants and a white top. Not crazy about the song choice, but she's singing it like a pro, working hard to make it better than it is.

Afterwards Sanchez says "there wasn't a lot to choose from" for 1995, and that next time she'll find a better song.
