No word on whether they'll be meeting up after their respective gigs, but it is certainly an interesting coincidence that not one but TWO former cast members of TV's early '90s teen comedy "Saved By The Bell" will be hosting Saturday night events on Long Island -- separated by only a few miles.

While Mario Lopez is taking the stage at Mulcahy's in Wantagh, it just so happens that actor Dustin Diamond -- better known as his "Bell" character "Screech" -- will also be working the Nassau County scene as he hosts the "I Love The 90s" party at the Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale.

And while Mr. Diamond is certainly a pop culture icon, he won't be the only guest of interest, as the venerable band Peat Moss & The Fertilizers will be performing live. Throughout the '90s into the early part of the last decade, Peat Moss was a massive draw on the Island circuit, playing incredible cover versions of everything from pop to rock -- and for this bash, the original lineup has reunited and will be bringing back a taste of what helped them sell out several shows back in their active days.

Everything will get started at 8 p.m. Saturday night with a $10 cover charge for a 21-and-over crowd.
