Connetquot High School threat unfounded, officials say
Connetquot High School started on its regular schedule Tuesday morning, a day after Suffolk County police were called to the building to investigate a threat that turned out to be unfounded, officials confirmed Tuesday.
Police said they were called to the school about 6:35 p.m. Monday to investigate an anonymous threat called into 911.
In an email to parents, Connetquot school officials said the building has been deemed safe and that classes began Tuesday on schedule.
