6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at James A. Dever Elementary School, Howell Road Elementary School, Wheeler Avenue Elementary School and Willow Road Elementary School.
THE BUDGET
The district proposes a $48,246,922 budget for 2016-17, a 2.73 percent increase from the current $46,966,691. The tax levy would increase by 1.45 percent, from $34,963,678 to $35,472,286.
This increase is equal to the district’s tax-cap limit, so a simple majority vote will be required to approve the budget.
School taxes on the average single-family home would increase by 1.45 percent, from $3,544.52 to $3,595.92.
The proposed budget would fund a contractual increase for teachers of 1.7 percent. There would be no step increases. It does not include any cuts in programs or services, and would add two positions: an instructional coach and a math specialist.

THE CANDIDATES
Incumbent Antoinette Pomerantz and candidate Milagros Vicente are running unopposed for two by-seat positions. Terms are three years.
