Nassau County homicide detectives and Crime Stoppers are looking for more information in the shooting deaths of two New Cassel men on May 5.

Leonel Volcy, 27, and Yvenel Fede, 19, were sitting in a car in front of a Hempstead house at about 1 p.m. when they were shot by a gunman, police said.

Volcy was pronounced dead on a grassy area near in the 100 block of Belmont Parkway at 1:11 p.m.; Fede was found by the car and pronounced dead shortly after 2 p.m. at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.

After the shootings, police sat outside the home in a 12-hour siege that yielded no arrests.

Authorities on Friday released photographs of the two victims but otherwise have provided no other details, including a possible motive or why Volcy and Fede were outside the Belmont Parkway home.
