A Long Beach man has been charged with robbing a Dunkin' Donuts store in Manhasset, Nassau County police said.

The robbery occurred Sunday at 7:40 a.m., police said. Christian Wallace, 30, of 102 W. Hudson St., entered the shop and used a note to demand money from a male employee, 38, police said. Wallace had also threatened to use a gun, and the employee handed over an undisclosed amount, police said.

Officers from the county's Third Precinct arrived at the scene and found Wallace at The Royal Inn Motor Lodge, 1177 Northern Blvd. Officers arrested him there and retrieved the funds taken, police said.

Police said no injuries occurred.

Wallace faces a first degree robbery charge and is to be arraigned Monday in First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
