Four kids taken to hospital after mini-school bus crash in Hempstead

Seven people, including four children, suffered minor injuries when a mini-school bus carrying preschool students was involved in a motor vehicle accident Monday morning in Hempstead, police said.
The crash on Baldwin Road at Windsor Parkway was reported in a 911 call at 7:40 a.m., Hempstead police said.
Six people, including all four students on the bus and both drivers, were transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment. A third adult was treated at the scene.
The bus was being operated by the Acme Bus Company.
A spokesman for the bus company could not be immediately reached for comment.
Police said it was not immediately known what school the children attended.
