Farmingdale men face drug charges
An investigation by Nassau County Police Bureau of Special Operations officers led to the arrests of two 20-year-old men on drug charges Monday in Farmingdale, police said.
Kyle Radtke, of 45 Cedar Ave., and Michael McDaniel, of 41 Grant St., both in Farmingdale, were arrested after stops on Grant Street just before midnight, police said.
Radtke was charged with fourth-degree criminal sale of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. McDaniel was charged with fifth-degree criminal sale of marijuana and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Police said the Bureau of Special Operations officers were conducting a drug investigation when they saw McDaniel enter a gray Jeep driven by Radtke. The Jeep then "drove around the block" and returned to the original location -- with McDaniel exiting the vehicle.
McDaniel was stopped at the scene and was found to be in possession of marijuana, police said.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on the Jeep and, police said, Radtke was found to be in possession of four Ecstasy pills.
Both men are scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in First District Court in Central Islip.
