Nassau County police arrested an Inwood mother and daughter Friday night on charges stemming from a July robbery attempt of an 18-year-old woman.

Christine Autry, 17, and Pristine Autry, 39, both of 92 Lord Ave., were charged with second-degree robbery.

Arraignment was set for Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Police said the female victim and the Christine Autry had a confrontation on July 18 and as the victim was walking along Lawrence Avenue in Lawrence later in the night, she was approached by the Autrys.

According to police, the mother and daughter punched, choked, kicked and bit the victim. They also stole her cash, handbag and cellular phone before fleeing the scene.
