Nassau Legislature measures targeted by GOP

Among the five items the GOP said passed without proper notice:

A contract between the Department of Public Works and Environmental Closures Inc.

A contract for the Police Department with the Jason Group, aka Swift Systems

A personal services agreement for the Police Department with the Uniondale Community Council Inc.

Among the items Republicans said needed 13 votes:

A compromise settlement in the case Warren v. County of Nassau

Five compromise settlements in assessment cases in: Hempstead UFSD, Port Washington UFSD (2), Great Neck UFSD and Hicksville UFSD.

A resolution establishing a municipal sustainable energy loan program.

Agreements with four historical societies: North Shore Historical Society, Freeport Historical Society, Seaford Historical Society and the Historical Society of the Merricks.
