Nassau police: Man found in Elmont alley was not homicide victim
Nassau County police detectives have determined a man found dead Thursday morning in an Elmont alley was not the victim of a homicide.
The homicide squad on Friday identified the victim as Patrick Rogers, 57, of no known address.
They did not reveal a cause of death.
Fifth Precinct officers responded to the alley, between Huntley and Wellington roads, shortly after 8 a.m. Thursday and found the victim dead, on the ground.
