Firefighters extinguished a fire at an Island Park home early Tuesday morning that spread from a recreational vehicle parked in the driveway, Nassau County police said.

A police spokeswoman said the fire started in an RV parked in the driveway of a Marina Road home at about 4 a.m. and spread to the house.

Firefighters from the Island Park Fire Department responded and put out the fire to the RV, she said.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire to the RV has not been determined, she said.
