A 26-year-old woman was arrested Thursday and charged with trying to rob a Roslyn Heights pharmacist of prescription pills at knifepoint, Nassau police said.

Jessica Dieguez, of 127 St. Marks Pl., was charged with first-degree attempted robbery and with possession of a dangerous weapon.

Dieguez entered the East Hills Pharmacy, 310 Roslyn Rd., at 9:55 a.m., police said, produced a knife and passed a note demanding 120 Xanax pills.

The pharmacist told Dieguez to leave, police said, and called police. She left, but responding officers located her at the Roslyn railroad station and arrested her, police said.

No one was injured, police said.

Dieguez was to be arraigned Friday in First District Court, Hempstead.
