New York State Police investigators, as part of an undercover sting, arrested three Nassau store clerks and charged them over the weekend with selling alcohol to minors.

State Police on Saturday arrested Ree M. Lee, 61, of Roslyn, a clerk at Vintage Cask and Barrel in Manhasset; Yogesh Sharma, 29, of Bethpage, a clerk at the Shell gas station at 220 Mineola Road in Manhasset; and Javid Khurram, 37, of Port Washington, a clerk at the Mobil located at 1021 Northern Blvd. in Roslyn.

The three were charged with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage after authorities said they sold alcoholic beverages to undercover state police officers.

State police investigated nine other gas stations and liquor stores in Manhasset, Roslyn Heights and Great Neck, and found all those locations were in compliance.

Lee, Sharma and Khurram were issued appearance tickets and were ordered to return to Nassau First District Court at a later date.
