Four Long Island school districts hold revotes Tuesday on revised budgets in a final effort to avoid operating under contingency or "austerity" conditions next year. Here are polling places and times and budget details.
Locust Valley: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Bayville Intermediate School, Brookville Reformed Church Community Hall, Ann MacArthur Primary School. The $73.7-million budget would raise spending 2.7 percent and property-tax collections 5.78 percent. Rejection would result in elimination of more than a dozen school programs including elementary foreign language and high school driver's education, in addition to cuts included in the original budget.
Oyster Bay-East Norwich: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Oyster Bay High School. The $50.1-million budget would raise spending 2.96 percent and taxes 4.34 percent.
Seaford: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Seaford Manor School, Seaford Harbor School. The $54.9-million budget would raise spending 2.43 percent and taxes 8.35 percent.
Westbury: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Westbury Middle School, Drexel Avenue School, Park Avenue School, Dryden Street School. The $109-million budget would raise spending 3.53 percent, taxes 3.17 percent.
