Cops: Queens man threatened to blow up Nassau, NYC police precincts

Nassau County police arrested a Queens man Friday for allegedly threatening to blow up police precincts in New York City and Long Island.
Richard Bolton, 30, of 102-46 228th St., Queens Village, called the Nassau County Communications 911 desk early Friday morning and said he had a bomb strapped to him near 165th Street in Jamaica, Queens, police said.
Bolton told dispatchers that he was upset about receiving summonses for violations in Queens and wanted to blow up a New York City precinct, then come to Nassau and blow up more precincts, police said.
Detectives found Bolton in Queens a short time later and arrested him at 3:20 a.m. Friday, police said.
Bolton was charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony, and is scheduled for arraignment Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
