Three charged in Island Park stabbing
Three Long Beach men were arrested and charged with second-degree assault after a fight outside a bar in Island Park late Wednesday in which two people were stabbed, police said.
The fight around 10:18 p.m. was in the parking lot of the Lacosta Del Sol Bar on Austin Boulevard, Nassau County police said.

Arrested were Elmer R. Otero, 19, of West Park Avenue, Marcelo Gomez-Mello, 27, of Michigan Street, and Jorge A. Perdomo, 22, of East Fulton Street, police said. All were scheduled for arraignment Thursday in First District Court, Hempstead.
Police said the trio approached two men, ages 33 and 34, in the bar regarding a financial dispute, then were involved in a fight with the men outside.
One of the victims was stabbed in the back, the other in the right arm and left hand, police said. Both were taken to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside.
Their conditions were not known Thursday. No weapon was recovered, police said.
