Body of man shot to death found in Brentwood woods
Police are investigating the shooting death of an unidentified man whose body was found early Monday in the woods in Brentwood.
A pedestrian found the man at 5:27 a.m. on the ground in a wooded area on Heyward Street, 100 feet east of Jefferson Avenue, police said. The pedestrian called 911.
"When police officers arrived, they found an unidentified Hispanic man shot to death," Suffolk police said in a news release.
