The Lindenhurst teen killed Sunday night after she was rear-ended by an accused drunken driver is scheduled to be buried Friday.
Brittney Walsh, 18, will be buried at Breslau Cemetery in Lindenhurst after a 10 a.m. prayer service at the Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Home in Babylon.
Walsh, who had graduated from high school just two days before the crash, was killed on her way home from work when, police said, her car was rear-ended by Michael Grasing, 31 of Babylon.
Grasing, whose blood alcohol level registered at 0.30 percent, according to police, pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. The legal limit is 0.08 percent.
Prosecutors said they expect to file upgraded charges as new evidence develops.
