David Gelormino, 24, was arrested on Monday, June 1, 2015 charged with the April 6 robbery of a Chase Bank in Ronkonkoma and the Nov. 7 robbery of an Astoria Bank in Medford, police say.

Suffolk detectives on Monday arrested a Farmingville man in connection with robberies of two banks in Ronkonkoma and Medford within the past seven months, police said.

David Gelormino, 24, was arrested by Pattern Crime Unit detectives and charged with the April 6 robbery of Chase Bank at 130 Portion Rd. in Ronkonkoma and the Nov. 7 robbery of Astoria Bank at 718 Rte. 112 in Medford.

Gelormino was charged with two counts of third-degree robbery and will be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.

Detectives said Gelormino walked into the Ronkonkoma bank and gave the teller a note demanding cash, and the teller gave the suspect cash from a drawer.
