Elizabeth Hernandez fugitive slaying suspect caught in Jamaica

Suffolk County police found Elizabeth Hernandez, 33, fatally stabbed inside her basement apartment on July 24, 2013.
A man wanted in the July stabbing death of his estranged girlfriend in Shirley has been arrested in Jamaica, The Associated Press reported.
Cleon Brown was caught by a police fugitive team in the Caribbean island's northern parish of Hanover, according to the AP.
Brown was scheduled to appear before a magistrate's court Friday, the AP reported. Police in Jamaica say extradition proceedings are expected to follow.
Suffolk County police found Elizabeth Hernandez, 33, fatally stabbed inside her basement apartment on July 24.
The mother of two had an order of protection against Brown at the time of her death, police said.
Brown fled to Jamaica before he was indicted in New York for Hernandez's slaying, the AP reported.
