Three Suffolk County locations will be sprayed with pesticides Tuesday and Wednesday, the Suffolk County Department of Health said in a release Tuesday.

All streets in the villages of Davis Park and Point O'Woods on Fire Island will be sprayed Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Beach Hampton and Napeague will also be sprayed Tuesday from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. According to the release, the Beach Hampton section of Amagansett will be sprayed on "all streets south of Montauk Highway from Sandpiper Lane to Napeague Lane; excluding wetlands and buffer areas adjacent to water."

Napeague will be sprayed on "all streets south of Montauk Highway between Marlin Drive and Dolphin Drive."

On Wednesday, all streets in Ocean Bay Park on Fire Island will be sprayed from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Children and pregnant women should take care to avoid being exposed to the spray, the release said. During and 30 minutes after treatment, people in those areas should remain inside -- if possible, avoid the areas completely. Windows and air conditioning vents can be reopened 30 minutes after spraying.
