For the third time in a month, police and fire officials are investigating a vehicle fire in the driveway of a home on Westwood Drive in Brentwood.

The latest fire, which damaged a minivan outside the home, was reported at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Suffolk County police said.

Brentwood Fire Marshal Robert Kuehn said the first two fires occurred on April 25 at 1:58 a.m. and on April 3 at 1:35 a.m.

All three are under investigation by the Suffolk County Arson Squad, he said. Neither Kuehn nor a police spokeswoman could say Thursday how the fires started.

No injuries were reported in any of the three fires.

A police spokeswoman said the initial fire on April 3, in which a 1993 Toyota and a 1995 Ford were damaged, has been determined "to be criminal in nature." The April 25 fire also damaged a minivan.

The owner of the home, Adalberto Alcantara, 50, of Queens said he learned of the fires Thursday, after the fourth vehicle was damaged.

"I don't live there. I rent the property," he said. "I'm heading there now to find out."

Alcantara said he was planning to talk to police but declined to be more specific.

"Thank God no one has been hurt," he said.
