The credit card was in a wallet stolen, along with an iPod and cash, from a car parked on Dorothy Road in West Islip on May 29, police said.

The next day, a photograph of the man police believe used that stolen card was taken by a surveillance camera at a Target store in Bay Shore, where the credit card had been declined moments before.

Suffolk County police are asking for help in identifying the man in the picture.

They said the card had previously been used at Lowe's in Bay Shore, a 7-Eleven and a Walgreen's in Deer Park.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000, police said.
