Suffolk cops checking report of a pedestrian struck by vehicle in Hauppauge Sunday night, officials say

Suffolk police were investigating an accident involving a pedestrian being possibly struck by a car in Hauppauge Sunday night.

Authorities received a call at 9:23 p.m. reporting a pedestrian being hit by a car near Veterans Memorial Highway and Northfield Road.

Officials had no immediate details on the type vehicle involved or the conditions of the driver and pedestrian.
