Televisions, coins, collectibles, power tools and jewelry are among the items to be offered by Suffolk County police in a property auction Wednesday.

The Property Section will stage the auction beginning at 8:30 a.m., next to police headquarters at 30 Yaphank Ave., in Yaphank, police said in a Monday news release.

All items will be sold in "as is" condition, the release said. Purchases are subject to state sales tax, and all payments must be made in cash.

Other items to be auctioned include electronic equipment, small household items, gun scopes and cases, sneakers and clothing.

A spokeswoman said the items were seized by police as proceeds of crimes or recovered during investigations. In some cases, police were unable to determine rightful owners.
