A 68-year-old man was critically injured Sunday in a one-car crash while entering his driveway in Melville, Suffolk police said.

Vincent Denino was driving a 2015 Mercedes-Benz on Mary Court when he struck an embankment and overturned his vehicle about 3:40 p.m.

After being extricated from the car, he was transported to Northwell Health Plainview Hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition, police said.

Second Squad detectives are continuing to investigate the crash and whether Denino experienced a medical condition just before it occurred.
