Sept. 10
The September Concert Foundation will hold a "global day of music for peace" at 1 p.m. at Molloy College in Rockville Centre.
The Town of Oyster Bay will hold a candlelight ceremony to honor residents lost on 9/11. The event starts at 7 p.m. at Tobay Beach.
Sept. 11
Commack High School, 1 Scholar Lane, Commack, will hold a candlelight ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Call 631-912-2165
The Court Officers Steuben Association of New York State will hold a Heroes Memorial Service at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow to honor and raise money for the families of court officers who lost their lives in 9/11 rescue efforts. A picnic at Field 6A will start at 1 p.m.; a Walk of Honor is set for 4 p.m.
Memorial services will be held at the East Northport Fire Department, 1 Ninth Ave., at 9:45 a.m. A candlelight vigil will be held at 8 p.m.
A candlelight ceremony will be held at Memorial Park at 7 p.m.
The Garden City Fire Department will hold a remembrance ceremony at the Garden City Gazebo, at the intersection of Stewart and Hilton avenues. The event starts at 6:30 p.m.
HEMPSTEAD
The Always-At-Aum Yoga School will hold a fundraiser for 9/11 in honor of fallen FDNY responder Vincent Albanese and other responders from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Hofstra University. Call 516-235-5307, or visit www.always-at-aum.com for more information.
Huntington Manor Fire Department will host memorial services at 8:30 a.m. at the firehouse headquarters, 1650 New York Ave., Huntington Station. A candlelight vigil will follow at 8 p.m. at Peter Nelson Park on Oakwood Road.
Central Presbyterian Church and the "Praise Him Coffee House" are hosting a concert of remembrance at 6:30 p.m. at the church, located at 240 Main St. The concert will feature poet-singer Michael Lamanga, the Spiritlifters and The Central Praise Band. Call 631-421-3663.
The Village of Lynbrook will host a memorial service at Memorial Park on the grounds of Village Hall, 1 Columbus Drive. The event starts at 6 p.m.
The Village of Massapequa Park will host a candlelight vigil at Brady Park, located at the corner of Lake Shore Drive and Front Street, at 7 p.m.
MASTIC
Thr Mastic Fire Department will hold a memorial ceremony at 9 p.m. at Mastic Park on Mastic Road.
POINT LOOKOUT
The Town of Hempstead sponsors a ceremony at 7:30 a.m. at Town Park Point Lookout, Lido Boulevard. Against the backdrop of two 15-foot-tall towers, a replica of the World Trade Center, participants will be invited to place flowers in a reflecting pool at the base of the towers and write personal messages as part of a memorial flag tribute.
A composition by Sound Beach composer/director Michael Bussewitz-Quarm will be performed at First Presbyterian Church of Port Jefferson by Long Island Voices. The event starts at 7 p.m. All proceeds will go to 9-1-1 Veterans, a Wading River nonprofit organization.
The Vigiano Brothers Lodge 㐶 of the Order Sons of Italy in America will hold a candlelight memorial from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at Harborfront Park. Contact Elayne Morga at 631-736-3236.
A candlelight vigil will be held at the Lakeland Fire Department's Garden of Heroes at 929 Johnson Ave, Ronkonkoma, starting at 7 p.m.

Islamic Center of Long Island dedicates its Peace Garden at 1 p.m. at the Center, 835 Brush Hollow Road.
New York City
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will hold an Interfaith Remembrance Service at St. Peter's Church, at corner of Barclay and Church streets in Lower Manhattan, at 2 p.m. The service will honor the 84 Port Authority employees killed on Sept. 11, as well as the victims of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
The New York Buddhist Church will hold an interfaith service and traditional Japanese floating lanterns ceremony to remember 9/11 victims at the south side of Pier 40 (W. Houston St. & West Street). For more information, visit www.newyorkbuddhistchurch.org or call 212-678-0305
NEAR GROUND ZERO
The city’s observance at Zuccotti Park on Liberty Street between Broadway and Trinity Place starts at 8:40 a.m. Families of those who died in the attacks begin arriving at 7 a.m.
Sept. 12
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. at the Cedar Marina Golf Course.
A 9/11 tribute featuring kites made by students and veterans will be held at 2:45 p.m. at Riverside Boulevard Boardwalk.
