Nick Batas struck out six, walked one and gave up three hits in six innings as St. Dominic beat Holy Trinity, 1-0, Friday in CHSAA baseball. Pinch runner Nick Pevraita scored on a groundout by Steven Goldstein in the bottom of the fifth as St. Dominic (12-1) won its 11th straight and maintained its two-game lead over second-place Chaminade.

Chaminade 15, St. Anthony's 2: Michael Ferranti went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs and Ryan Vaneck was 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI for Chaminade (10-3) in CHSAA. Terrence Connelly added three hits, three runs and two RBIs in the win.

Miller Place 8, Shoreham-Wading River 7: Matt Crimi's fielder's choice scored Dan Smith in the sixth to give Miller Place (5-7) an 8-7 lead in Suffolk League VI. Nick Acevedo's bases-loaded walk tied the score at 7 for MP.

Westhampton 3, Amityville 2: Jared Lettieri's double scored Tim Daley in the bottom of the seventh to win it for Westhampton (3-9) in League VI. Freshman Brett Pisaneschi struck out a career-high eight and walked one in a four-hitter. Amityville's Luis Cordero hit a solo home run in the top of the seventh to tie the score at 2.

Mount Sinai 7, Southampton 6: Avery Floyd hit a two-run double with one out in the bottom of the seventh to win it for Mt. Sinai (9-4) in League VII.

Port Jefferson 14, Southold 13: Alex Carlacci drove in Joe Gerbino with a single in the bottom of the seventh to win it for Port Jefferson (9-3) in League VIII. Gerbino had a solo homer, three RBIs and three runs and Billy Crowe hit a game-tying, two-run home run during the four-run seventh for Port Jefferson.

Calhoun 14, Bellmore JFK 8: Mike Mugno allowed a run and struck out five in 4 1/3 innings of relief as Calhoun (12-0) overcame a 5-0 deficit in Nassau Conference AA-III. Alex Vargas had a three-run homer in the third to tie the score at 7 and finished with six RBIs. Alex Ras' RBI double in the fourth gave Calhoun a 9-8 lead. John Eyerman had three hits, an RBI and four runs.

Port Washington 12, Manhasset 11: A.J. Freidman singled in Wayne Baker in the top of the eighth to give Port Washington (5-8) a 12-11 lead in non-league. Max Mancher went 4-for-5 with an RBI and Robert Sexton was 3-for-4 with an RBI.
