Farmingville, the Brookhaven broom is coming for you.

Town Supervisor Mark Lesko and Councilwoman Connie Kepert are scheduled to announce Monday the sixth and final “Operation Clean Sweep,” this one for Farmingville.

The announcement will be delivered in front of a Woodmont Place house that was ravaged by fire and recently demolished. The homeowner is working with the Quality of Life Task Force to eliminate the blight and is building a new home.

“Operation Clean Sweep” is a task force initiative that aims to improve the town’s quality of life by picking up litter, fixing broken streetlamps, installing new streets signs and other improvements.
