Nicole Caccioppo scored her fifth goal of the game off a feed from freshman Dana Campbell with 5:11 left as No. 2 St. Dominic edged third-seeded St. Francis Prep, 14-12, Wednesday in a CHSAA Class A girls lacrosse semifinal.

With St. Dominic (7-7) ahead 12-9 at the 9:23 mark, St. Francis Prep's Franki Rossi (five goals) scored twice during a three-goal stretch for the Terriers, who tied the score at 12 with 5:47 left in the game. Caccioppo's goal gave St. Dominic a 13-12 lead. Katie O'Brien scored with 3:01 left to provide the final margin for St. Dominic, which will face top-seeded St. Mary's in the final at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Kellenberg 13, St. John the Baptist 9: Lindsay Marino had six goals and two assists and Katie Connery had three goals for No. 4 Kellenberg (5-6) in a CHSAA AA quarterfinal. Kellenberg plays at No. 1 St. Anthony's in a semifinal at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.

Our Lady of Mercy 17, Holy Trinity 7: Courtney Chmil had six goals and two assists, Heather Russell had five goals and junior Sarah Diaz made a career-high 13 saves for No. 3 OLMA (7-3) in a CHSAA AA quarterfinal. Christine Dredger added four goals for OLMA, which plays No. 2 Sacred Heart in a semifinal at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Anthony's.

Baldwin 11, Hicksville 10: Shakoya Smith (three goals, one assist) scored with 24 seconds left in the second overtime to give No. 6 Baldwin (11-3-1) an 11-10 lead over No. 3 Hicksville in the first round of the Class A playoffs. Baldwin will face No. 2 Massapequa at Denton Ave. Field on Tuesday. Allie Rodgers (three goals) scored with eight seconds left in regulation to tie the score at 9 to force overtime.Mineola 15, Friends Academy 11: Samantha Stavish had seven goals for No. 4 Mineola against No. 5 Friends Academy in a Class C quarterfinal. Kalie Medlock had three goals and two assists and her sister, Kerry, had two goals for Mineola, which will face No. 1 Manhasset in a semifinal at 4:30 p.m. next Thursday at Denton Ave. Field.Cold Spring Harbor 22, Carle Place 15: Sophomore Victoria Kotowski had a career-high 10 points (seven goals, three assists) for No. 3 Cold Spring Harbor (9-6) in a Class C quarterfinal. Kelly Vasallo and Kelly Anne Sherlock each had four goals for CSH, which faces No. 2 North Shore in a semifinal at 6 p.m. next Thursday at Denton Avenue.Portledge 12, Poly Prep 10: Addie Reilly had five goals and three assists and has 407 career points for Portledge (13-2) in NYSAIS. Reilly surpassed the 400-point milestone when she scored to give Portledge a 3-2 lead with 16:33 left. Reilly, who now has 407 career points, became the first Portledge player to reach the 400-point plateau, coach Jon Sandos told Newsday.

Carey 5, Hewlett 4: Jake Robison scored the go-ahead goal with 1:54 left for No. 8 Carey (7-9) in the first round of the Nassau Class B playoffs. Carey will face No. 1 Wantagh at Hofstra on Monday. Mike Tripodi (three goals) scored with three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to tie the score at 4 for Carey.Lynbrook 8, Calhoun 7: Alex Maini's goal with 6:31 left in the fourth quarter gave No. 5 Lynbrook an 8-3 lead in a Class B first-round game. Lynbrook plays No. 4 South Side in a quarterfinal at 5 p.m. on Monday at Hofstra.

South Side 11, MacArthur 4: Gavin Ahern had five goals and one assist for No. 4 South Side (11-5) in a Class B first-round contest.
