The Mustangs took a 2-1 lead on Sydney Pirreca's goal at 16:40.

Not to be outdone, lil' sis, Shayna Pirreca, scored at 16:11 to push Mt. Sinai's lead to 3-1. Caroline Fitzgerald added a goal at 14:15 to make it 4-1.

Michelle Wiese scored from close range at 13:01 for CBA. Mt. Sinai's lead is now 4-2. Marisa Romeo scored at 12:25 to pull CBA with a goal. Caroline Webster scored at 8:58 to tie the score at 4 for the Brothers, prompting the Mustangs to call a timeout.

Mt. Sinai retook the lead on Shannon Burns' goal at 4:21. They're up 5-4.

The Brothers tied it on Taylor Poplawski's goal at 3:59. The score remained tied at 5 into the half.

Caroline Webster scored for CBA on a free position at 19:55 of the second half to give the Brothers a 6-5 lead (their first since 1-0).

Rachel Dillon tied it at 6 for Mt. Sinai with 18:32 remaining. Dillion struck again at 13:48 to retake the lead for the Mustangs. They're now up 7-6.

Dillon's fourth goal, at 11:17, put Mt. Sinai up 8-6.

Caroline Webster scored with 10:35 left to pull CBA within a goal. The Mustangs lead is now 8-7. Hey, familiar territory. They're usually in close games.
