Curry's OT goal wins it for East Meadow
Dylan Curry scored an unassisted goal with 2:02 left in double overtime to lift East Meadow over Division, 11-10, Thursday in non-league boys lacrosse. East Meadow's Chris Whitenack scored with 47 seconds left in regulation to tie the score at 10. Sean Hinchy and Dylan Curry each scored three goals to lead the Jets (6-3). Tom Nuckel had two goals and four assists for Division.
New Hyde Park 13, Glen Cove 12: Vincent Valente scored the winner with 36 seconds left for New Hyde Park (3-5) in non-league. Alex Theodores had four goals and Kyle Rudd had 17 saves.
Baldwin 9, South Side 7: Tyler Harper scored four goals and junior Brett Dadiego made a career-high 27 saves for Baldwin (6-4) in non-league.
Elmont 4, Bellmore JFK 2: Qusarn Caldwell scored twice and Peter Penalvert made 15 saves for Elmont (1-2) in B-I.
GIRLS LACROSSEFarmingdale 14, Wantagh 10: Jamie Leone's four goals and four assists led Farmingdale (6-1) in non-league. Kelly McPartland added three goals and four assists and Alex Gurecki made 15 saves. Wantagh is 8-1.
boys volleyballChaminade 3, Kellenberg 0: Mike Lobben had eight kills and 20 assists and Bryan Piligra had 11 blocks for Chaminade (9-3) in a 25-20, 25-18, 26-24 CHSAA win.
