Amber Davis had 14 points and nine rebounds and Kelsey Glanzman scored 12 points with eight rebounds to lead Center Moriches over Shelter Island, 51-31, in the Suffolk Class BCD Championship at St. Joseph's College. Glanzman scored eight of her 12 points in the first two quarters as Center Moriches (18-2), the Class B champ, jumped out to a 25-10 lead at the half. Kelsey McGayhey scored a game-high 24 points for Class CD champ Shelter Island (7-7). Center Moriches now will attempt to defend its Suffolk Small Schools title when it plays Glenn in the championship at Farmingdale State on Friday at 5 p.m.

Holy Trinity 55, Our Lady of Mercy 35: Katie Poppe had 17 points, 17 rebounds and 11 steals to lead No. 3 Holy Trinity (18-7) in the CHSAA girls basketball quarterfinals. Olivia Walsh had 13 points for No. 7 Mercy (10-14). Trinity plays No. 2 St. John the Baptist in the semifinals Friday at 5:30 p.m. at St. Dominic.Sacred Heart 49, Kellenberg 37: Sam Cody had eight points, 10 rebounds and six blocks to lead No. 4 Sacred Heart over No. 5 Kellenberg in the CHSAA quarterfinals. Becky Conto had 12 points and five rebounds and Taylor Higgins added 10 points for Sacred Heart (15-9). The Spartans play No. 1 St. Anthony's on Friday at St. Dominic in the semifinals at 7:15 p.m.
