Drew Federico and Mike Sagl each had two goals and two assists for West Islip in a 12-9 win over visiting Sachem North in Division I boys lacrosse Tuesday. The Lions (4-0) have won 25 straight games, with the last loss coming in the 2010 season-opener against Sachem North, 13-12 in overtime. Tom Moore added two goals and one assist, and Conor Braddish scored two goals. Kyle Turri made eight saves. Dalton Crossan led Sachem North (3-1) with three goals and one assist.

East Islip 11, Northport 8: Kevin Hutchinson scored three of his four goals in a 5-2 fourth quarter for East Islip (3-1). Tyler Begley had three goals, Kevin Wendel scored two goals, and Chris Guzzetta made 12 saves. Matt Carroll led Northport (2-2) with two goals and one assist.

Smithtown East 13, Hills East 8: Junior Vinny Ferraro scored a career-high five goals for Smithtown East (2-2), which led 12-4 after the third quarter. Ferraro also had an assist. Garry Watson added three goals and two assists, Ryan Desimone had two goals and three assists, and Brian Balkam made 14 saves. Matt Garziano led Hills East (3-2) with three goals.

West Babylon 9, Hills West 7: Andrew Schweigert scored the tying and winning goals for West Babylon (4-0). The winner came with 9:49 left in the game. Justin Fitzpatrick added two goals and two assists, and Ryan Quinn made 13 saves. Brothers Hans Haugen (West Babylon) and Nils Haugen coached against each other for the first time in a game that served as a fundraiser for Alzheimer's. Andrew McAlpine led Hills West (1-3) with four goals.

Syosset 13, Calhoun 7: Ryan Hunter scored four goals with one assist for Syosset (3-0), which led 11-1 at halftime, in Conference I. D.J. Schmeider added three goals, and Matthew Dantona had two goals and two assists. Joe McGinley and John Roth each had two goals and one assist for Calhoun (2-1).

GIRLS LACROSSE

Lindenhurst 14, Patchogue-Medford 13: Gabbi Valela scored the game-winner with 4:30 left in the second half for Lindenhurst (4-1) in Division I. Valela scored Lindenhurst's last three goals and finished with four. Jessica Wharry scored four goals with three assists, Cooper Sesselman added three goals and one assist, and Rachel Ramirez made 12 saves. Holly Ventimiglia led Patchogue-Medford (1-4) with four goals and one assist.

Half Hollow Hills 12, Ward Melville 11: Ariel O'Shea scored her third goal with 7:11 left in the second half to give Half Hollow Hills (4-2) the lead for good, 11-10. Julie DiMaria scored her second goal with 3:07 to play to make it 12-10. Alexis Maffucci added three goals and one assist. Emily Rogers-Healion led Ward Melville (3-2) with two goals and three assists.

Bay Shore 12, Middle Country 10: Caroline deLyra scored five goals with one assist for Bay Shore (4-1). Kelsey Healy's goal with 5:25 left in the second half gave the Marauders an 11-10 lead. Kyra Harney added three goals and two assists. Jenna Agostino led Middle Country (2-3) with four goals.

MacArthur 13, Plainview JFK 12: Jessica Gattus scored on a free position with 6:15 left in the game for MacArthur (3-0) in Conference A-II. Haley Jarkmarht tied it at 12 on a feed from Emily Powell with 11:29 left. Powell, a senior, had a career-high six goals. Caitlin Cooksey made 11 saves. Kelly Carcich led Plainview JFK (2-2) with five goals.

Garden City 10, South Side 7: Mikaela Rix scored off an assist from Alexandra Bruno 4:30 into the second half to give Garden City (2-0) the lead for good at 6-5 lead in Conference B-I. Rix scored four goals, including three in a 7-2 second half, and Caroline Tarzian added two goals and one assist. Jackie Cifarelli led South Side (2-1) with four goals and one assist.
