Film crews to shoot in E. Farmingdale
The Town of Babylon has approved requests for two production companies to film scenes for television shows within the town, according to town spokesman Tim Ruggeri.
The town board, at its meeting earlier this week, ratified a permit issued to Woodridge Productions to film scenes in East Farmingdale, at SheltAir Hangar and American Airpower Museum at Republic Airport.
The production company, based in Astoria, filmed exterior scenes on the tarmac for a television pilot.
The board also authorized filming at another site in East Farmingdale by FTP Productions LLC, based in Manhattan.
The company is shooting scenes at the American Inn for a CBS television pilot called “Ringer.”
The filming is due to be completed next week.
