Jillian Jacinth singled home Christine Desiderio in the first inning to give No. 1 Babylon (19-4) all the offense it needed in a 1-0 win over No. 2 Center Moriches (15-7) in the deciding Game 3 of the Suffolk Class B Finals on Wednesday.

Tiana Giuliano pitched her second three-hitter of the finals, striking out eight, just as she did in a 3-0 Game 1 victory. Center Moriches pushed the series to the brink with an extra-inning, 7-6 win in Game 2.

This is Babylon's second straight Class B title over Center Moriches and the program's fifth title in nine years. Babylon will play in the Class B Super Regional semifinals on Tuesday at noon at Bellport's Martha Avenue Field.
