Gabie Golan hit a 12-foot jumper with 20 seconds left in overtime to lift Lawrence over Sewanhaka, 67-65, Thursday in Conference A-II girls basketball.

Farrah Desvarieux's free throw tied the score at 59 for Lawrence with three seconds remaining in regulation.

Desvarieux had 22 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and seven steals. Natalie Leger added 14 points and nine rebounds, Golan had 13 points and senior Miriam Vainblat scored six of her career-high 11 points in overtime for the Golden Tornadoes (2-1).

Wantagh 44, Jericho 21: Tara Basile scored eight of her game-high 13 points in an 18-5 first quarter to lead Wantagh (6-2) in A-I. Demi Valenti added 10 points, six steals and five rebounds, and April Iannetta had six points, seven rebounds, six steals and four assists.

North Shore 77, Great Neck North 48: Senior Liz Sheerin scored a career-high 16 points and made four of North Shore's school-record 12 three-pointers to lead North Shore (3-0) in A-III. Amanda Johansen added 14 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.

Calhoun 60, Carey 41: Jessica Ruggiero had 23 points and 10 rebounds for Calhoun (3-1) in AA-III. Meghan O'Sullivan added 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Danielle Losee had nine points and six assists. Liz Osowiecki had 15 points for Carey.

Floyd 38, Patchogue-Medford 26: Monique Walker had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead Floyd (1-2) in League I.

Bay Shore 52, Sachem North 48: Taylor Lombardo had 15 points - on five three-pointers - to lead Bay Shore (1-4) in League II. Senior Elissa Lagara had a career-high 11 points, six assists and three steals, and her three-pointer created the final margin with 11 seconds left. Junior Courtney Bocchieri added a career-high nine points, nine rebounds and two blocks, and Megan Shoberl had 10 points and six rebounds.

Newfield 34, Smithtown West 28: Nicole Marino hit a layup with a minute left to give Newfield (1-2) a four-point lead, and Amanda Schlee's two free throws sealed the League III win. Schlee had 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Ashley Kobrin added seven points, nine rebounds and five blocks.

Bellport 38, Hauppauge 35: Asia Roundtree had 10 points and 13 rebounds and hit two free throws with a minute left to help Bellport (2-0) hold off Hauppauge in League IV. Rynese Smith added nine points, eight assists and four steals, and LaShanna Garrison had nine points. Julie Williams scored 18 points for Hauppauge (2-1).

Harborfields 51, Islip 45: Bridgit Ryan had 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Lynn Zhong added 10 points, 10 steals and six assists for Harborfields (3-0) in League V. Shannon Duer had 29 points and 20 rebounds for Islip.Miller Place 75, Rocky Point 66: Marlaina Sherman had 27 points and 14 rebounds for Miller Place (2-2), which outscored Rocky Point 15-6 in overtime in a League V matchup. Sherman's jumper with 30 seconds left in regulation tied it. Deanna Molinelli added 19 points and nine assists. Shannon Grodotzke scored 20 points for Rocky Point.

East Hampton 54, Amityville 49: Samantha Dombkowski scored 17 points to lead East Hampton (3-0) in League VI. Kelsi Thorsen added 12 points. It was the Bonackers' first win against Amityville. Raven Price scored a game-high 25 points for Amityville.

Shoreham-Wading River 65, Bayport-Blue Point 43: Michelle Gostic had 18 points, eight rebounds and five steals for Shoreham-Wading River (2-1) in League VI. Meghan King added 15 points and Corinne Wiederkehr had eight points and eight blocks.
