Grant scores winner for Connetquot

Kassi Grant scored the go-ahead goal off a feed from Amber Kupres with 5:03 remaining for Connetquot in an 11-10 win over East Hampton in non-league girls lacrosse Tuesday.

Grant and Courtney Oehl each finished with three goals and an assist and Kupres chipped in two goals and three assists. Kristen McKasty made eight saves for Connetquot.

Glenn 16, Whitman 7: Mackenzie Sivilli had five goals and an assist and Monika Sivilli had four goals and two assists to lead Glenn in non-league. Siovhan Zadrozny had three goals for Whitman.Harborfields 16, Babylon 5: Sarah Crowley and Morgan Lange each had four goals and two assists to lead Harborfields in non-league. Mineola 13, Wheatley 2: Kerry Medlock had four goals and two assists and Kalie Medlock added three goals and three assists as Mineola jumped out to a 9-0 halftime lead in its Conference C opener.New Hyde Park 18, Sewanhaka 7: Jill Graziano had six goals and Ciara McCullagh had five goals to lead New Hyde Park in non-conference.
