Copiague Harbor Beach reopens for bathing

Copiague Harbor Beach has been reopened for bathing after samples show the water quality is at acceptable levels, according to a Monday news release from the Suffolk County Department of Health Services.

The beach was closed to bathers on June 13 because of unacceptable bacterial levels, health officials said.
