On Saturday, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said that New York State may be hitting what looks to be the plateau of the apex in the battle against the coronavirus. Cuomo said any decision to close or open schools will be coordinated among officials in the New York City metro area, with input from officials in Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester.
