On Thursday, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced more than 92,000 New Yorkers have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Cuomo was concerned about rising numbers in the suburbs like Nassau County, which are less dense than New York City, as the state reported a total of 8,669 new positives Thursday morning.
