Protesters gathered across Long Island Saturday for two different reasons. In Brentwood, crowds gathered because of the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man from Minneapolis who died after a police officer kneeled on his neck. In Bellmore, protesters gathered over when to open the Long Island economy as the number of COVID-19 cases continues to decrease.
