Nassau County officials on Wednesday announced that student ambassadors will be encouraging their peers to get the COVID-19 vaccine. There will be several “student days” this month at the Nassau Community College vaccination site, with the goal of vaccinating 500 students per day. Newsday's Cecilia Dowd has more.
